Check Chase Online

What is Check Chase Online?

  • CCO is an Electronic Check Collection solution offered by NPS
  • CCO is designed to automatically handle checks eligible for electronic check collection (RCK) from those that are not
  • CCO was developed to fit into the space that exists after an item has returned NSF and before the item is sent to a collection agency
  • CCO will electronically re-present the eligible returns through the ACH network and forward the ineligible returns to secondary collections (3rd party collection company) CCO is a web based product for viewing activity and collection results 24/7
  • User intervention allows modification of re-presentment dates and the ability to remove selected checks from the system when the need arises...or you let the system run completely on its own CCO was designed to turn your NSF items into cash profit

AUTOMATION OR CONTROL

Once you accept a check as normal and deposit that item, all NSF returns will be mailed from your bank to the CCO processing center. Those checks will be imaged and entered into the online reporting tool. CCO will automatically re-present your items through the ACH network, or you control if and when that item needs to go back out electronically.

It is no longer necessary to send returned checks immediately to a collection agency.

IMPROVE NSF PROCESSING

Using CCO, you can re-present your returns without incurring additional return fees from your bank. Simply login to the CCO website to view all activity and results. Notification reports and Reimbursement reports are sent via email as well.

There are no charges to use the system, while at the same time receiving 100% of the face value of each recovered check.
